The EForce Development Path: From Foundational Skills to College Transition
11U: Foundational Skills & Introduction to Club Baseball
At the 11U level, our focus is on development. Players will enhance fundamental skills, learn positional responsibilities, develop pitching mechanics, and understand basic arm care. We introduce offensive and defensive concepts and provide an entry point into club-level competition, including multi-tiered tournaments.
12U: Building on Basics & Increased Competition: 12U continues to build on the foundational skills from 11U. We expand our roster and introduce basic strength and mental skills. Depending on skill level, teams will participate in higher levels of competition.
13U: Advanced Development & Transition to Full-Sized Diamond
At 13U, development continues with a stronger emphasis on winning at higher levels, including high-level tournaments. Rosters remain mostly consistent as players solidify positions and roles. We introduce more complex concepts and skills, transition to the full-sized diamond, and incorporate weight training, strength, and mental toughness
14U: High School Preparation & Advanced Routines
14U focuses on advanced development for high school play through concepts, skills, and strength training. We introduce essential "routines" like sleep, nutrition, consistent throwing programs, and mindfulness. Participation in high-level tournaments increases, and we begin building relationships with high school coaches. Roster changes are minimal.
16U: Post-High School Integration & College Prep
16U is summer ball, integrating with high school programs to ensure desired development. We participate in high-level tournaments and showcases, refining advanced concepts, pitching, and hitting. This level introduces the college recruiting process and emphasizes year-round training programs. Individual development in specific roles is prioritized.
18U: College Transition & Showcase Focus
18U is a showcase-focused summer, with strong integration with high school programs and the college selection process. We maintain high-level skills and routines, participate in college camps, all with the goal of transitioning players to the college level.
